Two recalled to prison following proactive arrests |
||
|
Two men have been recalled to prison after they were arrested by officers on #problemsolvingpolicing patrols in Stoke-on-Trent. Officers were on foot around Hanley yesterday (Wednesday 19 November) engaging with local businesses and addressing issues reported by the community. Whilst on Upper Market Square and Hope Street, officers spotted two men who were wanted for recall to prison. A 35-year-old man and a 40-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of recall to prison after release on licence which is revoked. Officers also engaged with a number of rough sleepers who were referred to local support services where appropriate. We are committed to maintaining a visible presence around town centres across Stoke-on-Trent and wider Staffordshire and would encourage local residents to report any issues to us. | ||
